Rider Killed in Santa Rosa Bicycle Crash on Todd Road near Highway 101

Santa Rosa, California (November 5, 2019) – Authorities say a bicyclist was killed after colliding with a big rig Tuesday afternoon in Santa Rosa.
According to the California Highway Patrol, authorities received reports of a bicycle and a big rig accident at about 12:10 p.m.
The crash happened on Todd Road near Highway 101.
First responders found the bicyclist under the tire of the semi, according to CHP.
The rider died in the accident. A coroner was dispatched to the scene at about 12:40 p.m.
Officers closed the southbound Todd Road off-ramp to Highway 101 for an unknown period.
An investigation is in progress.
