Burbank, California (November 5, 2019) – 25-year-old Malik Peterson has been identified as the motorcyclist who was killed in a collision with a car in Burbank on Thursday morning.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 10:30 a.m., October 31, at Glenoaks Boulevard and Cornell Drive.

CHP said Peterson was riding a motorcycle on the roadway when he collided with an SUV for unknown reasons.

Peterson was seriously injured in the accident and was transported to a local hospital. Sadly, the rider succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment.

The motorist remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.

No further information was provided.

An investigation to determine the cause of the accident is ongoing.
