Man, 70, Killed in Pedestrian Accident on 101 Freeway near Gower Street in Hollywood
Hollywood, California (November 1, 2019) – An elderly man was killed in a pedestrian accident in Hollywood early Friday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 1:10 a.m. on 101 Freeway near Gower Street.
The authorities said a 70-year-old man was walking along the No. 5 lane of the freeway when he was hit by a 2007 Nissan driven by 34-year-old Sanger man.

The motorist reportedly stopped at the scene and notified the authorities of the accident.
