1 Killed in Spring Valley Pedestrian Crash on Highway 94 at Bancroft Drive
Spring Valley, California (October 27, 2019) – Authorities are investigating the cause of a traffic collision that left a pedestrian dead in the area of Spring Valley early Sunday morning.
The fatal crash happened at about 12:44 a.m. October 26, in the westbound lanes of Highway 94 at Bancroft Drive.
A gray Toyota Prius struck a pedestrian on the highway for reasons still under investigation.

The pedestrian was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials affirmed that the deceased, who was intoxicated at the time of the collision, got out of a vehicle and attempted to walk across the highway.
The crash resulted in the closure of westbound Highway 94 at Bancroft Drive for an unknown time.
Meanwhile, vehicles were advised to exit the highway using Campo Road.
The detectives handling the case are gathering more evidence to identify the cause of the fatal crash.
