2 Injured in Sylmar Motorcycle Accident on 5 and 210 Freeways Wednesday
Sylmar, California (October 24, 2019) – At least two people were hospitalized Wednesday morning after a traffic accident involving seven vehicles in Sylmar, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported at about 5:42 a.m.Wednesday, October 23 on the southbound 5 and 210 Freeways.
According to the CHP, a motorcycle and six vehicles were involved in the collision. Details of what led up to the crash are unknown at this time.
Authorities said at least two people were taken by ambulance to a hospital.
According to officials, the motorcycle rider sustained moderate injuries, and a juvenile went to the hospital as a precaution.
The crash caused traffic congestion throughout Santa Clarita.
No further details were immediately disclosed.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
