Woman Killed in Tulare County Head-on Crash near Akers Street and Avenue 272
Visalia, California (October 24, 2019) – A woman was killed early Thursday morning in Tulare county after two vehicles collided head-on, according to a California Highway Patrol.
The deadly accident occurred at about 5 a.m. Thursday near Akers Street and Avenue 72 in Visalia, and involved a semi-truck and a Lexus.
Investigators say the driver of the Lexus, identified only as a woman, died in the head-on collision. The driver of the semi-truck remained at the scene after the incident.
The cause of the crash was not established immediately.
The incident is under investigation.
