Bicyclist Killed in North Hills Crash at Rayen and Woodley Avenue

North Hills, California (October 19, 2019) – A bicyclist was killed in a crash involving a hit-and-run driver on Friday night in North Hills.
According to the LAPD, the crash happened in the area of Rayen and Woodley Avenue shortly after 8:30 p.m. on Friday, October 18.
Police said a car collided with a bicyclist near the intersection. The driver stayed at the scene.
A second vehicle then struck the rider and the driver abandoned the car and fled the scene before authorities arrived.
Bicyclist Killed in North Hills Hit-And-Run Crash
The rider of the bike was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
The crash led to the closure of Woodley Avenue as the scene was examined by the officials.
The LAPD is searching for the hit-and-run driver.
