Man Seriously Injured in Bakersfield Pedestrian Crash at Wilson Road and Larson Lane

Bakersfield, California (October 15, 2019) – A man who was struck by a vehicle on Sunday evening in South Bakersfield was transported to a hospital with major injuries, according to a report by the Bakersfield Police Department.
Police said the collision took place at Wilson Road and Larson Lane around 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 13.
Officers who were in the neighborhood witnessed the crash and rushed to help the victim.
Pedestrian Struck, Seriously Injured in Bakersfield
The pedestrian was transported to a hospital and was reportedly in critical condition.
The driver who was operating the involved vehicle was not hurt in the crash and stayed at the scene.
It’s unclear whether alcohol or drugs were involved in the incident.
Bakersfield police are conducting an investigation into the accident.
