Ana Lovins Killed in Modesto Pedestrian Accident on Olivero Road
Ana Lovins ID’d as Woman Killed in Modesto Hit-and-Run Crash on Olivero Road
Modesto, California (October 14, 2019) – The woman who struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver earlier this month in Modesto has been identified as Ana Lovins, 40.
The deadly hit-and-run accident happened at about 10:20 p.m. Saturday, October 5 on Olivero Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Consuelo Aguilar, 48, of Modesto was driving a 2003 GMC Yukon on Olivero Road when she hit Ana Lovins, who was walking in the road.
Aguilar continued on Olivero Road and turned on northbound Jim Way.
Lovins was taken to a trauma center where she succumbed to her injuries some days later.
Aguilar turned herself into authorities after seeing a social media post from Modesto CHP regarding the fatal hit-and-run.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
