Jesus Garibay Killed, Yolanda Miranda Injured in Car Crash on 5 Freeway near Merced Avenue in Buttonwillow

Buttonwillow, California (October 14, 2019) – The authorities have disclosed the identity of a passenger who was killed in a car accident in Buttonwillow on Sunday morning.
According to a local news source, the accident happened at about 1:16 a.m. October 13, on 5 Freeway near Merced Avenue.
As per the report, 44-year-old Yolanda Miranda of Lynwood was driving a Nissan southbound on the roadway when he rear-ended a second car for unknown reasons.
The impact of the collision sent the Nissan off the roadway, where it crashed into a palm tree.
2 Killed in Buttonwillow Car Crash on 5 Freeway near Merced Avenue
46-year-old Jesus Cazares Garibay who was a passenger in the Nissan was killed in the accident.
Two juvenile Nissan passengers ages 11 and 12 sustained minor injuries in the accident.
Miranda was seriously injured and was flown to Kern Medical for treatment.
The driver of the second car was unhurt.
