Woman Seriously Hurt in Sacramento Motorcycle Crash on 5 Freeway near Elk Grove Boulevard
Sacramento, California (October 14, 2019) – A 28-year-old woman was hospitalized with major injuries after a collision between a motorcycle and a vehicle in Sacramento on Saturday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident happened at about 8:53 p.m. October 12, on Interstate 5 Freeway near Elk Grove Boulevard.
CHP said the woman was riding a 2003 Kawasaki Z1000 northbound on I-5 when she crashed into the rear of a Ford F-150.

The impact ejected the rider from her motorcycle.
