Motorcyclist Injured in Sacramento Crash on Highway 51 at Marconi Avenue Friday afternoon
Sacramento, California (October 12, 2019) – A motorcyclist was injured Friday afternoon in an alleged hit-and-run crash in Sacramento, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident happened at around 3:03 p.m. Friday, October 11 on Highway 51 at Marconi Avenue off-ramp.
The CHP said a motorcyclist, a gold Toyota 4Runner and two other vehicles were involved in the collision. At least one person involved in the crash fled the scene after the accident.
The motorcyclist sustained unspecified injuries as a result of the accident. However, the name of the rider and the extent of their injuries were not immediately available.
No further details were immediately provided.
The hit-and-run accident remains under investigation by the authorities.
