Man Critically Injured in Port Hueneme Crash on West Channel Islands Boulevard
Port Hueneme, California (October 10, 2019) – A man was hit and critically injured by a vehicle on Wednesday night in Port Hueneme, according to police.
The crash was reported at about 9 p.m. October 9, in the 400 block of West Channel Islands Boulevard.
Police said the man was running in the street when he was struck by a westbound vehicle driven by a 19-year-old.
Pedestrian Injured in Port Hueneme Accident
The victim was critically injured and was rushed to Ventura County Medical Center.
Police said alcohol and drugs were not suspected to be factors in the crash.
The incident is under investigation.
