1 Hospitalized after 80 Freeway Motorcycle Accident near McDonald Avenue Off-Ramp in Richmond
Richmond, California (October 10, 2019) – One person was hospitalized after a motorcycle accident that happened Thursday morning in Richmond, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident took place at about 8:49 a.m. on westbound 80 Freeway at McDonald Avenue off-ramp.
As per the report, a yellow Suzuki motorcycle and two other vehicles collided for unknown reasons. Allegedly, the motorcyclist hit a Honda Civic after being hit by a pickup truck.
At least one person was transported to John Muir Health, Walnut Creek Medical Center with major injuries.
Tow trucks were needed to clear the collision scene.
