Woman Injured in Santa Clarita Multi-Vehicle Crash on 5 Freeway
Santa Clarita, California (October 10, 2019) – At least one person was hurt in a traffic collision involving multiple vehicles in Santa Clarita on Friday morning.
The multi-vehicle crash happened on the Interstate 5 Freeway shortly before 7:40 a.m. on October 4.
As per the report, two passenger vehicles and a big rig collided on the highway at least three times.
It was not clear whether or not it was intentional.
The initial report showed that a female party in one of the cars exited her vehicle and ran through traffic.
At Least 1 Injured in Santa Clarita Multi-Vehicle Crash
Paramedics arrived at the scene shortly after the wreck and found the woman suffering in head injuries. The victim was then rushed to Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital for further treatment.
Officials did not affirm whether or not the victim suffered injuries in the crash or was hit by another vehicle.
The investigation is still ongoing.
