Otay Mesa, CA: Bicyclist Struck, Injured by Vehicle on Beyer Boulevard
67-Year-Old Man Seriously Injured in Otay Mesa Bicycle Accident on Beyer Boulevard and Del Sol Boulevard
Otay Mesa, California (October 9, 2019) – A bicyclist was struck and seriously injured by a vehicle Wednesday morning in Otay Mesa, according to police.
The accident happened just after 11:30 a.m. on Beyer Boulevard and Del Sol Boulevard.
Police said a 67-year-old man was riding his bicycle in a traffic lane on Beyer Boulevard when he was rear-ended by a Toyota Tacoma operated by a 40-year-old man.
The bicyclist suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the accident.
