Ventura County, CA: 2 Injured in Traffic Crash on Highway 1 Monday Night
2 Hospitalized after Highway 1 Car Collision at Thornhill Broom Ranch in Ventura County
Ventura County, California (October 8, 2019) – Two people were hospitalized with major injuries after a two-vehicle accident that happened Monday night in Ventura County, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The wreck took place at about 10:04 p.m. on Highway 1 at Thornhill Broom Ranch.
According to the report, a red Jeep Rubicon and a black Ford Ranger were involved in the crash. The Ford overturned onto its side.
Two people who sustained major injuries were rushed to Ventura County Medical Center for treatment.

Both sides of traffic were shut down for an unknown period following the collision.
CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
