1 Hurt in Vallejo Car Crash on Highway 37 and Fairgrounds Drive
Vallejo, California (October 2, 2019) – One person was transported to the hospital after being involved in a traffic collision in the area of Vallejo on Tuesday afternoon, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The accident happened shortly before 3:19 p.m. October 1, in the area of Highway 37 and Fairgrounds Drive.
The CHP said a sedan struck a piece of equipment in the westbound side of the freeway for unknown reasons. Officials believed the piece belonged to a sweeper truck. It remained unclear whether or not the car also hit the truck.

At least one person was hurt in the crash. The victim was rushed to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
