Isleton, California (September 26, 2019) – Three persons were injured after a major traffic crash that happened on Thursday afternoon in Isleton, Sacramento, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The collision happened at around 12:51 p.m. Thursday, on eastbound Highway 12, just west of Brannan Island Road.

As per the CHP officials, two vehicles crashed for reasons still under investigation. One vehicle was in a field and the second car on the right-hand shoulder of the roadway following the crash.

An ambulance was dispatched to the scene to attend to three persons injured in the crash. One person suffered severe injuries while two others sustained minor injuries as a result of the accident.

The name of the patients and their current condition was not immediately released.

Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
