Bakersfield, CA: Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 99
1 Injured in Bakersfield Car Accident on Highway 99

Bakersfield, California (September 25, 2019) – One person was hospitalized early Wednesday morning after a traffic accident in Bakersfield, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened just after 2:00 a.m. on northbound Highway 99.
CHP said the driver of a semi-truck did not notice traffic slowing head and crashed into a white sedan. The force of the impact caused the sedan to hit three other vehicles.
According to the CHP, one person sustained minor injuries and was transported by paramedics to a hospital. The name of the patient and their condition at this time were not disclosed.
Authorities said all occupants were wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
Alcohol or drugs were considered factors in the crash.
The accident caused traffic congestion on northbound Highway 99.
