Man Dies in Escondido Pedestrian Crash on West Via Rancho Parkway near Purer Road
Escondido, California (September 25, 2019) – A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle in Escondido Tuesday night, according to a report by the CHP.
The crash happened at about 7:10 p.m. September 24, on West Via Rancho Parkway near Purer Road.
CHP said a man was walking in the traffic lanes for unknown reasons when he was hit by an Infiniti sedan.

The victim was killed in the crash. His name was not immediately disclosed.
The CHP is conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the crash.
