Major Injuries Sustained in 10 Freeway Collision near Holt Avenue in West Covina
West Covina, California (September 23, 2019) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a car crash that happened Sunday afternoon in West Covina.
CHP officers said the two-vehicle collision occurred at around 5:23 p.m. on eastbound 10 Freeway, just east of E. Holt Avenue on-ramp.
The manner of the accident remained unclear.
An ambulance was dispatched to the scene to attend to an unknown number of victims who suffered major injuries.
Tow trucks were needed to clear the scene.
The cause of the accident will be established when authorities conclude their investigation.
