Eduardo Carrillo Injured in Car Accident at Interstate 5 and Highway 32 in Glenn County
Eduardo Carrillo ID’d as 1 of 2 Victims Injured in Glenn County Crash at Interstate 5 and Highway 32
Glenn County, California (September 19, 2019) – One of the two people who were injured Thursday morning in a traffic accident in Glenn County has been identified as Eduardo Carrillo, 29, of Orland.
The crash happened in the area of Interstate 5 and Highway 32.
According to a California Highway Patrol report, a 29-year-old Redding man was driving a 2002 Ford Explorer southbound on Interstate 5 just south of Highway 32 when he allowed his vehicle to veer into the oleanders that divided the lanes causing the car to flip over onto the northbound lanes.
Carrillo was driving a 2005 Ford Escape northbound on Interstate 5 when he crashed into the overturned SUV.
Carrillo suffered minor injuries as a result of the crash. The 29-year-old Redding man sustained major injuries and was taken to Enloe Medical Center.
Alcohol or drugs were not suspected factors in the crash.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
