Sonora, California (September 19, 2019) – Authorities are investigating a major motorcycle crash that happened on Monday morning in Sonora.
The crash occurred at an unspecified time on Monday, September 16, on Washington Street near Hospital Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a 30-year-old man was operating a 2014 Harley Davidson when a motorcycle crashed into the rear of a 2008 GMC box truck. The impact ejected the man and a 34-year-old Sonora woman riding as a bike passenger.
Major Motorcycle Accident on Washington Street in Sonora
The woman suffered severe injuries and was airlifted to the hospital by an air ambulance. The man reportedly sustained moderate injuries due to the collision.
