3 Injured in Bakersfield Car Accident on Calloway Drive near Slikker Drive
Bakersfield, California (September 18, 2019) – Three people were hospitalized after being involved in a traffic collision involving three vehicles in Bakersfield on Tuesday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened in the afternoon hours on September 17, along Calloway Drive near Slikker Drive.
The CHP said a BMW was heading southbound on Calloway Drive when its driver lost control of the vehicle, crossed over the center median and hit two other cars that were traveling northbound.
3 Hospitalized after Bakersfield Car Crash
The drivers and passengers in all three vehicles sustained minor injuries and were taken to Kern Medical. All victims were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident.
Neither alcohol nor drugs were suspected factors in the crash.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
