Woman Killed in Car Accident on Metz Road near Elm Avenue in Greenfield, Monterey County
Greenfield, California (September 17, 2019) – A woman was killed in a car accident in Greenfield, Monterey County, on Monday afternoon.
According to a local news source, the accident happened at about 3:50 p.m. September 16, on Metz Road near Elm Avenue.
A 31-year-old King City woman was driving a Honda Accord on the roadway when it was struck a Honda Civic which had been rear-ended by a northbound Chevrolet Silverado.

The unidentified woman had had to be extricated before being transported to a local hospital where she died while undergoing treatment.
Two occupants of the Honda Civic were unhurt.
The driver of the Chevrolet fled the scene on foot and was yet to be located.
No further information was provided.
An investigation to determine the cause of the accident is underway.
