Martinez, CA: 1 Hospitalized after Multi-Vehicle Collision on Highway 4
At Least 1 Injured in Highway 4 Car Collision near 680 Freeway in Martinez
Martinez, California (September 14, 2019) – At least one person was hospitalized after a car accident happened Friday afternoon on Highway 4 in Martinez, authorities said.
The multi-vehicle collision took place just before 1:00 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of the highway, just west of 680 Freeway.
The California Highway Patrol said the crash involved a total of four vehicles.
One person was transported to Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Walnut Creek with the complaint of pain.
CHP is investigating the accident.
