Long Beach, California (September 14, 2019) – A pedestrian was fatally hit by a vehicle on Friday night in Long Beach, according to the authorities.

The incident took place on the 405 Freeway near Woodruff Avenue on Friday, September 13.

CHP said one person died in the crash. Details on what may have caused the collision were unavailable.

The CHP is investigating the crash.

Many pedestrians are hurt and several others killed in accidents in California every year.
