Rider Injured in San Francisco Motorcycle Collision on 80 Freeway near Treasure Island Road
San Francisco, California (September 13, 2019) – A motorcyclist was hospitalized Friday morning after colliding with a car in San Francisco, according to authorities.
The incident transpired at about 11:00 a.m. on the westbound lanes of 80 Freeway, just east of Treasure Island Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a green motorcycle and a black Audi SUV were involved in the collision.
The rider sustained major injuries in the crash. The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital by San Francisco Fire Medics.
CHP is investigating the accident.
