Pedestrian Seriously Hurt in Sorrento Valley Crash near Eastgate Drive and Eastgate Mall
Sorrento Valley, California (September 13, 2019) – A pedestrian was struck and seriously injured by a vehicle on Friday morning in Sorrento Valley.
According to a police report, the crash took place at about 9:25 a.m. near the Eastgate Drive and Eastgate Mall intersection.
Police said the pedestrian was hit by a Nissan Frontier pickup truck.

The victim was transported to Scripps Memorial Hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the Nissan stayed at the scene after the crash.
The identities of the involved parties were not immediately released.
Police are investigating the crash.
