37-Year-Old Woman Killed in Oxnard Pedestrian Crash on Ventura Road near Juniper Street
Oxnard, California (September 12, 2019) – A woman was struck and killed by at least two vehicles on Wednesday night in Oxnard, according to the police.
The incident happened at about 11:30 p.m. September 11, on Ventura Road near Juniper Street.
Police said a 37-year-old woman was walking in the northbound lanes of Ventura Road when a dark colored SUV struck her and fled the scene.
The woman was then hit by an unknown number of vehicles. None of the drivers stayed at the scene.
The victim died in the crash.
No further details were released.
Police are investigating the incident.
