Two Critically Injured in Echo Park Crash at Vin Scully Avenue and Sunset Boulevard
Echo Park, California (September 10, 2019) – Two people were hospitalized with major injuries after a two-vehicle accident on Monday night in Echo Park, according to Los Angeles Fire Department.
The incident, which happened at around 9 p.m. September 9, occurred at Vin Scully Avenue and Sunset Boulevard.
Authorities said two vehicles collided and the impact sent one of them into a Super 8 motel, a fire hydrant and a tree.
Firefighters responded to the crash and helped pull out two trapped victims from one of the vehicles.
2 Hurt in Echo Park Crash
The two were transported to a hospital with critical injuries.
The occupants of the second vehicle and the motel were unhurt.
The authorities are investigating the crash.
