Pedestrian Hospitalized after San Francisco Crash at Sixth and Harrison Streets

San Francisco, California (September 10, 2019) – A woman was hospitalized after being hit by a vehicle in the South of Market neighborhood early Sunday morning, according to police.
The incident was reported at around 5:52 a.m. September 8, at Sixth and Harrison streets.
Police said a woman sustained a head injury and pain to her back, hip and abdomen after being hit by a vehicle. She was transported to a hospital and was expected to survive.
The driver of the vehicle, identified as a 58-year-old man, reportedly turned himself in a few hours after the crash.
No further details were released.
Police are investigating the crash.
