Rider Hurt in Santa Cruz Motorcycle Accident on Graham Hill Near Nepenthe Drive

Santa Cruz, California (September 9, 2019) – A motorcyclist was transported to the hospital after being involved in a traffic collision in the area of Santa Cruz on Saturday night, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The motorcycle collision happened at around 7:53 p.m. September 7, in the 1500 block of Graham Hill Road, near Nepenthe Drive.
As per the CHP report, a Ford Focus collided with a motorcycle for reasons still under investigation.
Motorcycle and Car Crash in Santa Cruz Saturday
The rider sustained minor injuries in the crash. The victim was attended to by paramedics who responded at the scene shortly after the collision. The patient was then rushed to Dominican Hospital by a ground ambulance for further treatment. The identity of the deceased remains unknown to this time.
It was mentioned whether or not the Ford driver stopped after the crash and cooperated with the officials’ investigation.
The cause of the accident remains under an active investigation.
