Castro Valley, California (September 7, 2019) – At least one person sustained major injuries in a traffic collision involving seven vehicles in Castro Valley on Friday morning
The crash happened at around 10:13 a.m. September 6, at Interstates 580 and 238 Freeways
A California Highway Patrol report indicated that a gray Toyota Sienna, a silver Nissan Frontier pickup truck were involved in the wreck. The driver in the minivan reportedly passed on the right side at high speed and crashed into the truck. A white Toyota Corolla, a silver Honda SUV, and three other vehicles were also struck by the minivan.
1 Hospitalized After Castro Valley Multi-Vehicle Accident
At least one person suffered major injuries in the crash and was rushed to a hospital. The current condition and the name of the injured party have not yet been released to this time.
The pickup truck acquired major front and rear-ended damage in the crash and was towed from the scene. The minivan acquired major damage as well.
The investigation is underway.
