48-Year-Old Laura Garcia Killed in Victorville Car Accident on Hook Boulevard Near Brentwood Park

Victorville, California (September 5, 2019) – 48-year-old Laura Garcia has been identified as the driver killed in a traffic collision in Victorville on Thursday afternoon, according to a San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office report.
The fatal collision occurred shortly after 2:00 p.m. September 5, along Hook Boulevard near the Brentwood Elementary School.
A local news source indicated that a gold Lexus sedan driven by Garcia west on Hook Boulevard collided with a black Jeep for an unknown reason. The Jeep was traveling east at the time of the collision. Due to the impact, Garcia was pinned inside the wreckage.

Garcia, a Victorville resident, was pronounced dead at the scene following the wreck. The driver of the Jeep was rushed to a local hospital with injuries considered as non-life-threatening. The identities of both the deceased and the injured party remain unknown to this time.
The crash resulted in the closure of Hook Boulevard between Showhorse Lane and Aloe Road following the wreck.
The investigation is underway.
