Echo Park, California (August 23, 2019) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle early Friday morning in Echo Park, according to the authorities.
The incident happened at about 2:45 a.m. on Highway 101 near North Rampart Avenue.
Authorities said a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle in the southbound lanes of the highway.
The victim died in the collision.
The victim’s identity was not immediately released.
The crash is under investigation.
