8 Pedestrians Hospitalized after Car Crashes Into Crowd at El Camino and Saratoga Sunnyvale Road in NorCal
13-Year-Old Boy and 7 Others Injured in Sunnyvale Pedestrian Accident at El Camino and Saratoga Sunnyvale Road
NorCal, California (April 23, 2019) – Eight pedestrians were hospitalized Tuesday evening after a vehicle hit them in Sunnyvale, according to a local news source.
The accident occurred at about 6:40 p.m. at the intersection of El Camino and Saratoga Sunnyvale Road. Sunnyvale is located in Northern California near Palo Alto.
According to police, the driver of the vehicle may have intentionally struck a group of pedestrians. Witnesses told investigators there was no sign the motorist tried to stop before hitting the pedestrians.

At least eight people, including a 13-year-old boy, were transported to a hospital in unknown condition.
The driver of the vehicle involved was arrested.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
