Yucca Valley Man Killed in Thousand Palms Crash on Roberts Road and Ramon Road
Thousand Palms, California (September 11, 2019) – A 56-year-old man was killed in a collision involving a semi-truck on Tuesday night in Thousand Palms, according to the the authorities.
The crash was reported at about 10:45 p.m. September 10, on Roberts Road and Ramon Road.
CHP said a 56-year-old Yucca Valley man was driving a Nissan Sentra westbound on Ramon Road when, for unknown reasons, he crashed into the back of a parked 2019 International tractor-trailer.
Yucca Valley Man Killed in Crash on Ramon Road
The Nissan driver was killed in the crash. His identity was not immediately released.
The driver of the big rig was unhurt.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
