Palm Springs Traffic Crash on Interstate 10 near Haugen- Lehmann Left David Foxworth Dead

Palm Springs, California (December 3, 2020) – The Banning victim who died following a traffic collision in Palm Springs Wednesday afternoon has been identified as 56-year-old David Foxworth.
The fatal car accident took place on Interstate 10 near Haugen Lehmann Way at about 5 p.m. on December 2.
The mishap happened when one of the rear tires of a Chevrolet Suburban driven by Foxworth eastbound on I-10 became flat.
The Chevrolet then lost control before sliding across the four traffic lanes of the highway.
The California Highway Patrol said the car rolled over onto Railroad Avenue after slamming through a perimeter fence.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and rescued all six occupants who were pinned inside the wreckage.
5 Injured in Fatal Palm Springs Car Crash
Sadly, Foxworth was pronounced dead at the scene.
Foxworth’s wife, a 37-year-old, and their kids aged 7, 11, 15, and 20, were hospitalized with minor to moderate injuries sustained in the wreck.
Intoxication was not believed to have played a role in the wreck.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
