3 Injured in San Rafael Car Crash on Highway 101 near Lucas Valley Road
San Rafael, California (December 12, 2020) – At least three people were injured in a collision that happened in San Rafael early Saturday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 1:02 a.m. on Highway 101 near Lucas Valley Road.
The authorities who responded to the incident found a vehicle on fire at the scene. The vehicle is reported to have been traveling on the roadway when it crashed into a guardrail for unknown reasons.
As per the CHP incident logs, three people sustained major injuries in the accident and were transported to Marin General Hospital for treatment.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
