3 Killed and 4 Injured in Car Crashes on 8 Freeway near In-Ko-Pah in San Diego

San Diego, California (November 9, 2020) – Three people were killed in a car crash that left at least four other people injured near In-Ko-Pah in San Diego on Sunday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the tragic accident happened on Interstate 8 Freeway at about 9:30 p.m. November 8.
A 16-year-old was driving a Toyota Solera with his 16-year-old passenger when he allegedly made an unsafe turn causing the vehicle to travel off the roadway and rolled over.
The impact of the crash ejected the driver from the vehicle.
The unidentified driver was killed in the accident.
The passenger was injured in the accident and was transported to El Centro Regional Medical Center for treatment.
In another incident that happened in the same area, a 20-year-old man was driving a 2006 Toyota Sequoia with four other occupants when the driver lost control and crashed into the side of a mountain.
The driver was transported to Desert Regional Medical Center where he died while undergoing treatment.
A 20-year-old passenger died at the scene of the accident.
The passengers were hospitalized with unspecified injuries.
