3 Hurt in Car Accident on Highway 4 near Balfour Road in Brentwood
Brentwood, California (November 22, 2020) – At least three people were injured in a two-vehicle collision in Brentwood, Contra Costa, on Sunday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 4:45 a.m. on Highway 4 near Balfour Road.
Two vehicles reportedly collided on the roadway for unknown reasons.
The authorities who responded to the incident found three injured people at the scene. A helicopter was summoned to transport one patient to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek for treatment of major injuries.
The other two victims were transported to an area hospital by ambulance.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
