Oak Park Man Killed in Santa Barbara Crash on Highway 101 near Garden Street
Santa Barbara, California (December 13, 2019) – A 21-year-old Oak Park man was struck and killed in a crash early Friday morning in Santa Barbara, according to the CHP.
The crash occurred just before 1:30 a.m. on Highway 101 near the Garden Street off-ramp.
CHP said the man was trying to run across the southbound lanes of the highway when he was hit by a semi-truck driven by Charles C. Hudson, 56, of Loma Linda.
Man Dies in Santa Barbara Pedestrian Crash
The victim was killed in the crash.
Hudson stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
CHP is investigating the crash.
