19-Year-Old Driver and Passenger Killed in Vista Crash at Lawrence Welk Court and Lawrence Welk Drive
Vista, California (April 4, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a Thursday night rollover car crash that killed a 19-year-old driver and a passenger in Vista, San Diego.
According to the California Highway Patrol report, the deadly collision happened at about 10:30 p.m., on April 1, in the area of Lawrence Welk Court and Lawrence Welk Drive, west of Interstate 15.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a 2016 Toyota Scion, driven by the 19-year-old man, was headed eastbound on Lawrence Welk Court when it went through the intersection with Lawrence Welk Drive and crashed down a steep embankment.

Sadly, the driver and a male passenger were pronounced dead at the scene.
