2 Injured in Truck Accident on Grove Street in Sonoma
Driver, Passenger Hospitalized after Sonoma Rollover Crash on Grove Street near Westerbeke Ranch

Sonoma, California (February 4, 2021) – Two people were injured Thursday afternoon in a single-vehicle rollover crash in Sonoma, according to a local news source.
The accident happened at around 2:20 p.m. on Grove Street near Westerbeke Ranch.
Authorities said a tree-trimming truck was traveling on Grove Street at an unspecified speed when the driver lost control of the truck while descending the road.
The truck reportedly struck a tree and flipped over.
Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and extricated the passenger who was trapped in the wreckage of the truck. The patient was then airlifted to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.
The operator of the truck complaining of pain after the crash and was transported to Napa’s Queen of the Valley Hospital. The names and conditions of both patients were not immediately disclosed.
The truck spilled about 30 gallons of diesel fuel following the crash.
The road was closed for nearly three hours as Caltrans cleaned up the spilled fuel. An investigation into the accident is underway.
