2 Hospitalized after Motorcycle Accident at Palm Drive and 20th Avenue in Desert Hot Springs
2 Injured in Desert Hot Springs Motorcycle Crash

Desert Hot Springs, California (March 8, 2019) – Two people were injured Thursday afternoon in a motorcycle crash in Desert Hot Springs, according to a local news source.
The wreck happened at around 3:30 p.m. Thursday, March 7 in the area of Palm Drive and 20th Avenue.
According to police, an unidentified person was riding a motorcycle southbound on Palm Drive when the rider collided with a vehicle near the intersection with 20th Avenue.
As a result of the collision, the motorcyclist fell off the bike and landed in the southbound lanes. The motorcycle then continued in the northbound lanes where it struck another vehicle.
Responding paramedics took the rider to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs with major injuries. Another person was also transported to a hospital with minor injuries. The names of the victims and their condition were not released.
The crash caused the closure of Palm Drive between Dillon and Varner roads.
The crash remains under investigation.
