1 Seriously Injured in Santa Cruz Pedestrian Crash on Soquel Drive and North Rodeo Gulch Road
Pedestrian Hit and Injured by Car on Soquel Drive and North Rodeo Gulch Road in Santa Cruz
Santa Cruz, California (December 22, 2020) – At least one person was injured in a pedestrian that happened in Santa Cruz on Saturday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 5:40 p.m. December 19, on Soquel Drive and North Rodeo Gulch Road.
A pedestrian was reportedly walking south across Soquel Drive in the crosswalk when he was hit by a 2003 Honda Accord was traveling west.
The pedestrian sustained life-threatening injuries in the accident and was transported to Santa Clara Valley Medical Center for treatment.
Information about the motorist was not immediately provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
