1 Injured in Multi-Vehicle Collision on 5 Freeway near San Onofre Nuclear Plant in San Diego
San Diego, California (October 25, 2020) – A major injury car crash was reported near San Onofre Nuclear Plant in San Diego on Sunday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 1:10 a.m. in the southbound lanes of Interstate 5 Freeway.
Multiple vehicles were involved in the accident. However, the manner in which the accident happened was not immediately established.
The CHP’s Border Communications Center said at least one person was seriously injured in the accident.
The Camp Pendleton Fire Department also responded to the incident.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
