1 Injured in Gridley Car Crash at Larkin Road and Turner Avenue
Butte County, California (January 5, 2021) – One person was injured in a head-on collision that happened near Gridley in Butte County on Tuesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 6:20 a.m. in the area of Larkin Road and Turner Avenue.
A white Chevrolet 2500 pickup truck and a Nissan Frontier pickup truck reportedly collided head-on for unknown reasons.
The impact of the collision sent the Nissan down an embankment.
The authorities who responded to the incident had to extricate a woman who was trapped inside the vehicle.
One person was hospitalized with moderate injuries.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
